Tayer Sohag defeats Menoufia and advances to the quarter-finals of the Egyptian Universities Youth Week in Helwan
The Sohag University female volleyball team advanced to the quarter-finals after their victory this morning over Menoufia University, after the two teams tied in the number of rounds, where a tiebreaker was played that went to Sohag University 15-9, within the first group competitions in the activities of the Third Universities and Higher Institutes Youth Week. Ten, which is hosted by Helwan University this year from the 8th to the 14th of September, with the participation of 4,000 male and female students representing 48 public, private, private and technological universities. Under the slogan “The New Republic… A Dream of a Homeland,” this was stated by Dr. Hassan Al-Noamani, President of the University.
The Sohag University female volleyball team consists of 9 female students and is trained by Dr. Mahmoud Ali Othman, under the supervision of Nashat Abbas, Director of the University’s Sports Activity Department.
