
A Fulbright Commission delegation reviews scholarships to study in the United States at Sohag University
Dr. Hassan Al-Noamani, President of Sohag University, received Dr. Maggie Nassif, Executive Director of the US Fulbright Commission, to discuss ways of cooperation in supporting the scientific research system, developing the skills and capabilities of researchers in various research fields, and exchanging cultures and experiences between the two sides, in the presence of Dr. Abdel Nasser Yassin and Dr. Khaled Omran, Vice President of the University, Abdel Aleem Refaat, representative of the Ministry of Higher Education, and Batoul Khaled, program coordinator at the Authority.
Al-Nomani stressed the university’s keenness to open multiple horizons of cooperation with all bodies and institutions. In a way that contributes to improving the quality of the educational system, developing the capabilities of researchers and university cadres, and preparing leaders, adding that the grants include a graduate study program for master’s students, a program for conducting post-doctoral research, a program for conducting research and collecting scientific material for master’s and doctoral students at universities, in addition to a preparation program.
