
The President of Sohag University witnesses the closing ceremony of the Forum for Preparing Students to Participate in Student Activities
Dr. Hassan Al-Noamani, President of Sohag University, witnessed the closing ceremony of the Forum for Preparing Students to Participate in Student Activities, which was organized by the University in cooperation with the Leadership Preparation Institute under the slogan “A Better Future”, in the presence of Dr. Abdel Nasser Yassin, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Karim Hammam, Director of the Leadership Preparation Institute. And a number of faculty members and students, in the Suez Canal Hall in the university’s new headquarters.
At the beginning of his speech, the President of the University expressed his happiness and pride in the success of this forum, and in the awareness and culture of the participating students. He thanked everyone who contributed to organizing this distinguished celebration, and for the ideas presented by the lecturers included in the lectures and workshops, with the aim of pushing the students to enhance their ambition and develop them. their skills and give their best, wishing everyone more success and excellence.
Al-Numani called on students to participate in such forums, which contribute to achieving communication, cohesion and competition between them in various scientific, cultural and social fields, and exchanging experiences and cultures, so that they can develop their talents and stimulate the spirit of competition among them, in addition to training them to bear responsibility and self-confidence, stressing The university must continue to build and prepare student cadres in line with its vision stemming from Egypt’s Vision 2030.
For his part, Dr. Abdel Nasser Yassin thanked all the participating delegations from the universities of Upper Egypt, which were represented by 250 male and female students, stressing that student activities are an essential complement to the educational process, as they enable students to take responsibility towards themselves, their colleagues, and their community.
In his speech, Dr. Karim Hammam thanked Dr. Hassan Al-Nomani for his material and moral support to make the activities of this forum a success, and for the efforts made by all participants to bring the forum out in this honorable manner, praising the extent of the students’ commitment and constructive vision, as the forum contributed greatly to developing a comprehensive plan that included aspects of awareness and education. And training, with the aim of building a generation and youth cadres who understand the importance of participating in student activities and its role in building student awareness.
It is worth noting that the closing ceremony included a number of artistic performances performed by the choral team of the College of Specific Education, followed by the university president honoring all participants in the forum in appreciation of their efforts.
