

Sohag University organizes a training camp in preparation for participation in the Egyptian Universities Youth Week in Helwan
The activities of the training camp at Sohag University were launched for student teams participating in the 13th Egyptian Universities Youth Week, which is hosted by Helwan University this year in the period from 8 to 14 next September with the participation of 24 universities. This was stated by Dr. Hassan Al-Noamani, Acting President of the University.
Al-Nomani added that this comes within the framework of the university’s preparations to participate in this week’s activities, which is considered one of the most important and powerful student activities at the level of Egyptian universities and receives strong attention from the Egyptian state, stressing the university’s keenness to participate in these activities, which contribute to building the students’ personalities. Achieving communication between university youth, pushing them to cooperation and familiarity, developing in them the spirit of competition, and always striving for the best.
Dr. Abdel Nasser Yassin, Vice President of the University for the Education and Student Affairs Sector, inspected the training of the teams participating in the Universities Youth Week held on the grounds of the university cities’ stadiums, accompanied by Dr. Muhammad Kamal Khalil, Vice President of the Faculty of Physical Education for Postgraduate Studies and Research Affairs, Head of the Mission, Nashat Abbas, Student Communication Officer of the Mission, and a number From the directors of youth welfare departments.
During his visit, the Vice President of the University inspected the training of various sports teams, including football for his students, volleyball for female students, and the mobile team, as well as Holy Qur’an training for male and female students. He listened to the university’s choral team, praising the effort made by the Youth Welfare Administration and the coaches of the sports teams, as well as the mobile and choir teams. He also spoke. With the students and urging them to make efforts and progress to achieve victory and advanced positions in the week’s events.
Dr. Muhammad Kamal Khalil explained that the university delegation participating in the University Youth Week will include 159 individuals, including 111 female students, who will compete in a number of activities included in the week’s activities, which contribute to developing their skills and motivating them to creativity and innovation.
Sabri Muhammad Ibrahim, Director General of Central Youth Welfare, stated that the training camp for the participating teams will continue until next September 5 and includes training for all sports, cultural, scientific, artistic, and mobile activities, which take place inside the halls and playgrounds of the university city.
