
The Sohag University handball team won over its counterpart from Suez University… within the activities of the 13th Egyptian Universities Youth Week in Helwan
Sohag University defeated Suez University in a handball match 20-10 during the sports match that took place between them a short while ago on the fields of Helwan University, as part of the activities of the thirteenth Universities and Higher Institutes Youth Week, which Helwan University is hosting this year from 8 to 14 April. This September, with the participation of 4,000 male and female students representing 48 public, private, private and technological universities, under the slogan “The New Republic… A Dream of a Homeland,” this was stated by Dr. Hassan Al-Noamani, University President.
The university handball team finished the first half with a score of 12-4, and in the second half the team achieved a 20 victory against 10 for the Suez University team.
It is worth noting that the Sohag University team consists of 10 students and is trained by Dr. Yasser Abdel Azim and Captain Islam Hegazy under the supervision of Nashaat Abbas, Director of the University’s Sports Activity Department.
