In the presence of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Resercah, the President of Sohag University witnesses the closing ceremony of the Thirteenth Egyptian Universities Youth Week at Helwan University

Dr. Hassan Al-Noamani, President of Sohag University, witnessed the closing ceremony of the Thirteenth Egyptian Universities Youth Week, which was organized by Helwan University under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, and in the presence of Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Dr. El-Sayed Kandil. The President of Helwan University, an elite group of university presidents and representatives of various ministries.
The closing ceremony of the thirteenth Universities Youth Week was opened with the republican anthem, the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an, and the showing of a documentary film of all the activities and events that took place during the week, in addition to a number of artistic and musical performances. During the ceremony, Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Dr. El-Sayed Kandil, President of Helwan University, also honored during the ceremony the distinguished delegations participating in the week and those who won the first five places, and handed them shields and medals, in encouragement and appreciation of the effort exerted with great efficiency during the week’s activities.
Dr. Hassan Al-Noamani stressed that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, attaches utmost importance to developing the skills of Egyptian youth, through his unlimited support for organizing such student forums, which aim to hone the skills of young people and develop their creative abilities. He explained that the week’s activities witnessed for the first time the distinguished participation of students with disabilities. Special needs in many different sports and hobbies.
Dr. Abdel Nasser Yassin, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, added that the university won 5 various gold, silver and bronze medals at the conclusion of the activities of the Egyptian Universities Youth Week, in cultural, scientific and artistic activities. Pointing out that the week’s activities took place under the supervision of Dr. Muhammad Kamal Khalil, Head of the Mission, and Sabri Ibrahim, Director General of Central Youth Welfare. It included 111 male and female students, who competed in various types of sports, scientific, social, artistic, cultural and mobile activities.
