Dr. Hassan Al-Noamani, President of Sohag University, issued Executive Decision No. 1928 of 2023 regarding making some organizational amendments to the organizational structure of the Faculty of Physical Education. This came based on the decision of Dr. Saleh Al-Sheikh, Head of the Central Agency for Organization and Administration No. 101 of 2023, in line with the policy of the Egyptian state. Towards administrative reform and achieving its goals towards sustainable development, raising the organizational level of the university and completing the development of the human resources system.
Dr. Hassan Al-Nomani said that the decision included making some job amendments to the job schedule at Sohag University / Department of Education (Faculty of Physical Education), including the creation of 3 jobs in the group of specialized jobs, namely (Director of Stadiums and Sports Facilities Department – Director of Cultural Relations Department – Director of Human Resources Operations Department). ), in addition to re-evaluating the position of college secretary to the high career level (general director).
Accountant Ashraf Al-Qadi explained that the amendment also included re-evaluating some organizational divisions’ functions and raising their level, such as (Director of the Student Welfare Department – Director of the Graduate Studies and Research Department – Director of the Dean’s Office Administration – Director of the College Council Secretariat Department – Director of the College Vice Dean’s Office for Education and Student Affairs – Director Administration of the Office of the Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies, Research and Cultural Relations – Director of the Office of the Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs – Director of the Education Affairs Department – Director of the Alumni Administration – Director of the Library Administration – Director of the Financial Affairs Department – Director of the Administrative Affairs Department).
Amani Al-Masry, Director General of Organization and Administration at the university, confirmed that this decision came as a continuation of the amendments to the organizational structures of the university’s colleges, as this was preceded by amending the structure of the College of Science, and creating the structure of both the College of Specific Education and the College of Computers and Artificial Intelligence (general administration level), noting that it is underway. Currently, we are studying the structures of the remaining colleges in the Central Organization for Organization and Administration and re-evaluating their functions.
