The President of Sohag University holds the first meeting with employees of the administrative apparatus and listens to their demands and development proposals*
Dr. Hassan Al-Noamani, President of Sohag University, held an extensive meeting with university leaders and members of the university’s administrative staff, in the presence of Dr. Abdel Nasser Yassin, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Khaled Omran, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, the accountant Ashraf Al-Qadi, Secretary-General of the University, and Major General Hatem. Sadiq, the Director of University Security, and the general directors of all departments, in the large conference hall at the old university headquarters.
The University President began his speech by offering congratulations to all members of the university community on the occasion of the start of the new academic year, which coincides with the fragrant anniversary of the Prophet’s birth, and also the celebration of the golden jubilee of the victories of the glorious October War, calling on God to return to the Egyptian people those occasions with goodness and blessings, expressing He is proud of his participation in the activities of the “Story of a Homeland” conference, which was organized over 3 days in the Administrative Capital, and the successes he achieved at all levels, which ended with the announcement by His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, of his intention to run for a new electoral term, in response to the desire of the great Egyptian people.
During the meeting, Dr. Hassan Al-Nomani stressed the importance of constant communication with all components of the university in order to advance the educational process and ensure the continued provision of the best services to students at the highest level, with the necessity of creating a positive administrative environment that contributes to achieving the goals and vision of the university to develop work, improve administrative performance, and increase productivity. Pointing out that the university administration is keen to provide all means of support and care to employees of the administrative apparatus, which is considered an integral part of the educational institution, praising their constructive and effective role in advancing and advancing the university’s edifice, and achieving its mission and vision on the ground.
In the same context, Al-Nomani directed the necessity of continuing to open channels of communication with members of the administrative apparatus in order to reach the best level of job satisfaction among employees, in addition to working to develop the university’s organizational structure and forming new ranks of competent administrators, in addition to focusing on developing human resources. He urged workers to develop their skills and abilities to improve the quality of production through qualifying training courses organized by the university.
At the end of the meeting, the University President opened the door for discussion and questions with the employees, who interacted seriously with the dialogue and put forward many demands, opinions, and suggestions, which were met by the University President with welcome, transparency, and credibility in the response, offering them sincere thanks and appreciation for the efforts they make for the benefit of the university. He called on them to work as one team, persevere and strive tirelessly to bring the university to the ranks of international universities.
