Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hanno, Minister of Culture, received Dr. Hassan Al-Nomani, President of Sohag University, to discuss cooperation aspects and enhance areas of joint work, at the Ministry’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital.

Al-Nomani said that the meeting discussed the proposed work program and discussed mechanisms for enhancing integration and coordination to support students and develop their cultural and artistic talents, in implementation of the university’s strategy in creating creative paths for students and developing their capabilities, awareness and national responsibility.

Al-Nomani reviewed the most important cultural and artistic activities held by the university and the creative plans to discover and support talented people in the cultural fields.

Among them is the implementation of “Sohag, the city of culture and arts” project, which aims to support those with talent and heritage crafts, and develop thought and cultural awareness for different ages in various arts.
