The Committee of the Supreme Council of Universities praises the Digital Infrastructure of the Electronic Testing Building at Sohag University.
Dr. Hassan Al-Noamany, President of Sohag University, received members of the Supreme Council of Universities Committee at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, represented by Dr. Alaa Abdel Ati, Director of the Electronic Testing Unit at the Ministry of Higher Education and Chairman of the Committee, Engineer Mustafa Attia, representative of Connect Company, and Engineer Mohamed Hussein, Director General of Engineering Affairs at the Ministry of Higher Education this is to visit the electronic testing building at the university’s new headquarters, and to ensure its readiness to receive students starting from the new academic year.
Al-Numany stressed that the development of the university’s educational system is progressing well, as it has expanded the application of electronic tests, raised the efficiency of the information infrastructure, and expanded the establishment of electronic educational platforms that rely on distance education, in line with the directives of the political leadership towards digital transformation, adding that the electronic tests implemented by the university ensure credibility and integrity and change the type of exam that depends on memorization, memory and retrieval, to measure higher thinking skills such as application, analysis, evaluation and creativity.
