Sohag University is preparing to launch the Activities of the Forum Linking Scientific Research and the Production and Services Sector
Dr. Hassan Al-Noamani, President of Sohag University, held the first preparatory meeting with the preparation committee for the linking forum between scientific research and the production and services sector, which will be held in the first week of next December, in the presence of committee members including deans, professors, and faculty members in all the various faculties at the university.
Dr. Hassan Al-Nomani said that the university is preparing to launch this forum to achieve several goals to link the scientific research system with the production and services sector, to implement the requirements of sustainable development and improve the standard of living for the region’s population, and to support applied research and scientific consultations in what is necessary for the production and services sector in the governorate, in addition to raising labor skills in the production and services sector, training is based on the idea of development and creativity by specialized academics.
Al-Numany added that the forum also aims to establish business incubators to develop small and medium enterprises and stimulate entrepreneurship initiatives, and mutual acquaintance between academics and workers in the production and service sectors on development obstacles and applied scientific research, and providing suitable job opportunities through employment based on feasibility studies and scientific studies of the governorate’s resources.
