Sohag University participated in the Huawei Egypt Summit for Higher Education 2023, which was held under the slogan “Accelerating the Digital Journey for Higher Education,” under the auspices of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and in the presence of an elite group of information executives at Egyptian universities, and directors of the private academies of the Huawei International Academy at Egyptian universities. Dr. Hassan Al-Numani, President of the University, said that the university’s participation comes in implementation of the strategy of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the field of digital transformation, and the future vision of how to use modern technologies to develop higher education institutions and move towards smart, sustainable universities, adding that this summit is an opportunity to explore the most important emerging technologies in Education industry, and enabling industry elites, experts and partners to discuss the path to digital transformation, and trends in the development of information and communications technology in the education sector.
