President of Sohag University honors the faculties and Central Departments that have obtained the International ISO
Dr. Hassan Al-Noamany, President of Sohag University, witnessed the celebration activities of the university’s central administrations, and the faculties of Arts, Sciences, Commerce, Agriculture, Nursing, Medicine, and Pharmacy, obtaining the international ISO 9001 certificates for the year 2015 for the administrative work system, and also ISO 21001 for the year 2018 and the private ones with the quality of the educational process, which was held in the glass conference hall at the old university headquarters, in the presence of Dr. Khaled Omran, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, the accountant Ashraf Al-Qadi, Secretary-General of the University, Dr. Jamal Sorour, Director of the Development and Performance Evaluation Department to ensure quality, and an elite group of deans and staff members, unit directors, project officials in faculties and central schools, and a large group of employees in the administrative apparatus.
At the beginning of his speech, Dr. Hassan Al-Numani congratulated all university employees in the central administration and the seven faculties obtaining the international ISO certificates in the quality of the administrative system and the quality of the educational process, stressing that this achievement would not have been achieved without the concerted and cooperative efforts of employees in various departments, as well as follow-up continued by the quality assurance units, those in charge of the project, and the internal audit team, expressing his pride in this success, which was a reflection of the distinguished performance of the administrative system.
It demonstrates the extent of the university institution’s commitment to applying international standards for comprehensive quality systems, indicating that the university administration is making unremitting efforts to achieve its strategic goals towards creating a qualitative shift in international academic and administrative accreditation to ensure continued development and modernization at the level of the educational and administrative process, with the aim of the university reaching a prestigious level among Egyptian, Arab and international universities, in a manner befitting the name of the university and its ancient history.
From his part, Dr. Jamal Sorour said that the celebration included honoring the officials of faculties and units that obtained the ISO certificate, in addition to honoring the central administrations and team work responsible for the project, adding that the honor came in recognition of the university administration, led by Dr. Hassan Al-Nomani, of the strenuous efforts and outstanding performance of each who contributed to achieving this achievement, and to extend thanks and appreciation for motivating the university’s employees to complete the development work process, adding that the university president announced the disbursement of an incentive reward to the colleges and the central administration in view of their efforts made in obtaining ISO.
