Sohag University President Discusses the Executive Position of New Construction Projects with the Cabinet Delegation
At the beginning of the meeting, Al-Noamani explained that the university received great attention and support from President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and witnessed tangible achievements at the level of construction projects that were implemented at the new university headquarters, at a cost of 3 billion pounds, stressing that the Egyptian state provides all aspects of Support for building, construction and launching mega projects to serve the educational process and accommodate the largest number of university students, to prepare qualified graduates capable of competing strongly in the local and global labor market, indicating that the university is continuing the process of construction and development in a way that keeps pace with developments in the modern era and achieves renaissance in society.
During the meeting, the university president reviewed the most important construction projects, whether they have been completed or are being delivered during the coming period, in addition to monitoring the obstacles that hinder the completion of others, and the measures that must be taken towards the companies responsible for implementation for their delay in the specified dates for delivery, indicating
the project to establish the first international gymnasium “covered hall” at the level of Upper Egypt, the student dormitories building, and the classroom building, adding that the construction projects also include the Specialized Surgery Hospital, the Shifa Children’s Hospital, in addition to a number of faculties buildings at the new university headquarters, including faculty of Law, faculty of Dentistry, and faculty of Physical Education building.
