“Sohag University wraps up fitness sports festival events and honors top three winners”<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Sohag University concluded the activities of the BE FIT Students and Students Sports Festival, organized by the Department of Sports Activity and the Central Department of Youth Welfare for the second consecutive year, in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Central Department of Sports Development – General Directorate of Student Sports Activity), during the 19th and 20th of February this year, Under the patronage of Dr. Ayman Ashour Minister for Higher Education and Scientific Research and Dr. Ashraf Subhi Minister for Youth and Sports.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Dr. Hassan Al-Noumani, President of the University, said that the sports festival “BE FIT” is held on the grounds of the University City Stadium for Female Students at the Old University, with the participation of 1000 students from all academic teams of different faculties, in order to raise the fitness rates of young people, to measure endurance, strength, speed and flexibility during physical competitions in which students participate. Which were divided into the number of days of the festival according to the academic band, indicating that the festival included several sports activities and physical challenges, competitions and performances aimed at spreading sports culture among students, and encouraging them to play various games to enhance their physical fitness.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Dr. Abdul Nasser Yes, Vice President of the University for Education and Students Affairs, emphasized the importance of students’ participation in various fields of student activities carried out by the University administration, its great role in building their characters, discovering sporting talents and qualifying them to participate in national and international tournaments, along with sporting activities of self-reliance and responsibility, and exchange Experiences and skills, as well as promoting teamwork, accepting competition and working in a team spirit.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Dr. Mohammed Kamal, the coordinator of the students’ activities, explained that the arbitration committee of the festival announced the winners of the first three places in each academic group, in the first group, the students of the Faculty of Physical Education won the first places, namely Saifuddin Ali, Hassan Qadri, and Mahmoud Marai, and the female students both won Maryam Romani, Yasmin Wardani, Aya Refaat, hosts The second group got Amr Najah from the Faculty of Law on the first place, Muhammad Mahmoud from the Faculty of Computing and Artificial Intelligence on the second place, and Abdul Rahman Nasser from the Faculty of Physical Education on the third place, as for the students, both Angie Walim from the Faculty of Arts won the first place, Rawan Jamal from the Faculty of Sports Education on the second place and Shahd Muhammad from the Faculty of Physics won the second place. Physical Education is the third center.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Dr. Ahmed Atef, Director General of the General Administration for Youth Welfare, said that the first three places in the third group (students and female students) were won by both Nouruddin Abdullah in the Faculty of Sports Education first place, Muhammad Rajab in the Faculty of Arts second place, Motaz Al-Sayed in the Faculty of Sport Education third place, and also Nourhan Mustafa won in the Faculty of Education Athletics is the first place, Rahma Mahmoud from the Faculty of Physical Education is the second place, and Alia Alaref from the Faculty of Quality Education is the third place.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Nashat Abbas, the director of the Sports Activity Department, and Al-Khatib Muhammad, a specialist in Sports Activity Management, added that the results of the fourth group, in which Mustafa Mustafa got the first place from the Faculty of Physical Education, and the second place was won by Mustafa Asim from the Faculty of Law, and the third place was won by Hatem Shaaban from the Faculty of Commerce, and the female students both won Habiba Ali in the Faculty of Physical Education first center, Menallah Harbi in the Faculty of Sports Education second center, and Amima Abdul-Wadoud in the Faculty of Education third center.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
