Sohaj University, participates in the student activities of Egyptian universities held within the festival of “Alem Alamin” in its second edition 2024 in the new city of Alamin, stated Dr. Hassan Al-Noumani, President of the university, and said that the participation of the university came within the framework of the implementation of the directions of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, with the importance of intensifying interest in student activities and promoting awareness Students building their characters and displaying their talents in various activities and areas.
The president of the university added that the meeting aims to inform university youth on the most important and largest national projects and the size of achievements and successes experienced by the Egyptian state in recent times, in line with the realization of the national strategic goals for higher education and the vision of Egypt 2030, and especially the positive echoes of the opening of the World Festival in its second year. Hoping to achieve more progress and prosperity of our dear country, pointing out that the events are in cooperation between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and the Student Activities Sector of the Ministry of Higher education and Scientific Research.. On his side, Dr. Abdul Nasser Yas, Vice President of the University for Education and Students Affairs, said that the university participated with a delegation of 13 students and female students in the student activities events of Egyptian universities in the Alamin Festival, adding that the events included many activities, sports, artistic and social competitions, including pentathlon, beach volleyball, art competitions Figureism in the fields of painting, oil photography, artwork, and creative design.
Mohamed Youssef, director of the department of student unions and families of the General Administration for the Central Youth Welfare, added that the events also include visiting the exhibitions accompanying the festival, and checking out the sights of the new Al-Amein City, which lasts until August 31st.
